Internet video streaming provider Disney+ has once again followed their usual annual trend by hitting UK customers with a fresh round of price hikes, which are all due to be introduced for new customers today. Existing subscribers will also be hit, although this won’t follow until 18th November 2026 (or 2nd December 2026 if you pay annually).
In terms of the actual price changes (credits to T3). The “Standard with Ads” plan has increased by +£1 to £6.99 per month, while “Standard” increases by +£2 or 20% to £11.99 (or £119.90 annually) and “Premium” rises by +£1 to reach £15.99 (or £159.90 annually). This represents another annual inflation busting increase that ranges from 7% to 20%, depending upon your plan and whether it’s a monthly or annual payment.
The Extra Member option remains unchanged this time. Suffice to say that the endless price hikes and ever-increasing fragmentation of streaming TV and movie content continues to get worse, which increasingly risks driving many consumers back to more unlawful pursuits. The Disney+ UK website hasn’t yet been updated to reflect all this, but this is due to occur later today.
