New customers looking to sign-up with Carlisle-based broadband provider Grain, which has deployed their point-to-point full fibre (FTTP) network to cover 300,000 UK premises and connect 60,000 customers, may like to know that the ISP has launched a new discount that reduces some packages to half price for up to 9 months of service.

In short, customers subscribing to Grain’s entry-level 250Mbps Full Fibre package, which normally costs £19.99 per month, will instead pay £9.99 but only for the first month of their 24-month term. By comparison those taking their top 2Gbps package will pay £15.99 a month for the first 9 months and then £31.99 for the remaining 15 months. The 500Mbps tier does 3 months half price and for 900Mbps its 6 months half price.

The provider’s packages typically include free installation, unlimited usage, a wireless router (Static IPs and Wi-Fi extenders are also available at extra cost) and pledges no mid-contract price hikes (first term discounts not withstanding). The new half-price promotion is expected to run for the whole of September 2026.
